Carbon Valley Santa Cops
The Carbon Valley Santa Cops program is an annual event in which the Firestone, Frederick, and Dacono Police Departments provide a gift, warm winter clothing, and necessities to underrepresented children in the Carbon Valley area during the holiday season.

Catalytic Converter Theft Prevention Kits
The Firestone Police Department has partnered with local automotive shops and the Colorado Auto Theft Prevention Authority (CATPA) to provide community members with FREE catalytic converter theft prevention kits.

Citizens' Police Academy
the Citizens’ Police Academy is a 10-week program designed to give community members a behind-the-scenes look at law enforcement. This engaging experience helps build a deeper understanding of police work and fosters stronger partnerships between officers and the community. Participants will explore a wide range of law enforcement topics, including criminal law, community policing, building searches, vehicle stops, officer safety and survival, police technology, and use of force, among others.

Cram The Cruiser
Cram the Cruiser is a program initiated by School Resource Officer Tera Neugebauer to introduce middle school students (ages 12-15) to volunteer, work and serve their community. Participants will develop essential life skills such as communication, compassion, and experiences to prepare them as they enter the workforce in the coming years.

Drug Take Back Day
Too often, unused medications end up in the wrong hands, leading to dangerous and sometimes tragic consequences. This event offers a valuable opportunity to clean out your medicine cabinets and dispose of medications responsibly.

National Night Out
The National Night Out program is dedicated to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support for and participation in local anti-crime efforts, strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships.

PACT
The Firestone Police Department's newest program to connect with community members - Police and Community Together (PACT). PACT meetings will feature speakers from different divisions within the department or from outside partners that support the department. In addition, each meeting will include department updates on crime statistics, trends, and crime prevention recommendations. Each meeting will end with a Q&A session and an opportunity to meet the speakers.

Presents in Custody
Prevent the possibility of package theft and ensure secure delivery of your packages by shipping them to the Firestone Police Department. You can then pick them up and have one less thing to worry about!

Teen Summer Police Academy
During summer break, School Resource Officers host an action-packed 4-day Student Police Academy! Get hands-on experience with traffic stops, building searches, cyber crimes, fingerprinting, and DNA analysis, plus learn from local emergency agencies. Lunch and daily refreshments are included!
