Upcoming Road Closure for Firestone City Centre Construction

Union Street Closed from
 I-25 Frontage Road to Arbor Street

Beginning Monday, July 24, 2023, Union Street will be closed from the I-25 Frontage Road to Arbor Street. This closure is required to allow the utility contractor to safely and expeditiously install utility lines in the intersection of Union Street and Arbor Street as part of the Firestone City Centre North project. 

Barring any unforeseen issues and weather permitting, this closure is expected to last 5 days. The main detour routes will be I-25 Frontage Road (CR 9 ½) and Arbor Street. See the detour map below. 

Motorists, pedestrians, and bicyclists are urged to pay close attention to detour and traffic control signs and, if possible, avoid the area.
