Ronald Reagan Boulevard Temporary Closure

Colorado Blvd. to Barefoot Lakes Pkwy.

Beginning Monday, August 7, 2023, Ronald Reagan Boulevard will be temporarily closed for 1 week. The closure will be between Colorado Boulevard and Barefoot Lakes Parkway. This closure is required to allow the paving contractor working for the Barefoot Lakes Developer to safely and expeditiously complete the paving. 

Barring any unforeseen issues and weather permitting, the road is expected to be reopened on Monday morning, August 14, 2023 for the morning commute.

The main detour routes will use CR 9 1/2 to Highway 66 or Colorado Boulevard to Highway 66. Signs will be in place along the detour route to help direct travelers.

Motorists, pedestrians, and bicyclists are urged to pay close attention to detour and traffic control signs and, if possible, to avoid this section of Ronald Reagan Boulevard altogether.
