Upcoming Road Closure for Firestone City Centre Construction

County Road 9 ¾ Closed from 
CR 24 ½ to Firestone Blvd

Beginning Tuesday, September 5, 2023, County Road 9 ¾, between County Road 24 ½ and Firestone Boulevard, will be temporarily closed. This closure is required to allow the utility contractor to safely and expeditiously install utility lines in County Road 9 ¾. as part of the Firestone City Centre North project. Barring any unforeseen issues and weather permitting, the duration of this closure is expected through the end of November.

The main detour routes will be County Road 24 ½ and Arbor Street. Signs will be in place along the detour route to help direct travelers. 

Motorists, pedestrians, and bicyclists are urged to pay close attention to detour and traffic control signs and, if possible, to avoid this area.
