Weld County Court Denies

During Public Comment at a Joint Special Meeting between the Board of Trustees and the Planning and Zoning Commission on Wednesday, August 6, a community member expressed an intent to pursue legal action against the Town of Firestone. On Wednesday, August 13, the Town was given notice that the resident had filed a motion with the Weld County District Court seeking a Temporary Restraining Order. In the days that followed, numerous accusations and inaccuracies circulated on social media.

Earlier this week, Weld County District Court denied the Plaintiff’s motion for a Temporary Restraining Order and Request for Hearing.

The Town of Firestone remains committed to accountability and transparency with our community. While we welcome constructive feedback and varying perspectives, we will not condone or be distracted by willful attempts to mislead residents.
