    Vendor Application Deadline: Friday, June 7, 2019, no later than 5:00 p.m.

  2. Vendor Space*

  3. Electricity - $20 *

    Vendors requesting electricity must provide their own UL approved extension cord and multi-plug adapter as needed and assume all risks. The Town of Firestone reserves the right to charge an additional fee based on the amount of power needed.

  4. A nonrefundable convenience fee for all online transactions will be added upon checkout.

  5. Please be specific as possible as we want to ensure variety and success of our vendors. The Town of Firestone reserves the right to approve or deny applications, and to make the final determination of participation to limit potential overlap of vendors. If your application is not approved, your fee will be refunded.


  7. Are you selling merchandise at your booth?*

    • All vendors selling merchandise must provide a copy of their current sales tax license for the State of Colorado with their completed vendor application.
    • Town of Firestone businesses must have a current business license.
    • Transient merchants (out-of-town) must have a current business license, but are not charged a separate business license or sales tax license fee for Town-sponsored one-day events provided they have submitted a completed vendor application and paid the vendor fee.
    • Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting all applicable sales tax to the state. Colorado: 2.9% Firestone 3.6%

  8. Insurance

    Vendor spaces are not insured by the Town of Firestone

    Food vendors will be limited to the first 8 vendors to sign up with a completed application and paid vendor fee. Food vendor specialties will also be limited and determined by the Events & Programming Coordinator, such as no more than one kettle corn vendor.

    Please note that the Town of Firestone does offer up to 2,000 free snow cones to attendees.

    Food vendors must submit a Weld County Public Health Temporary Food Event Application, a copy of the vendor’s Colorado Retail Food Establishment License (or tax-exempt status form), a copy of the vendors current Mobile License (if applicable) and a Certificate of Insurance listing the Town of Firestone as Additionally Insured.

  10. Evening Food Vendors

    Up to 5 food vendors can apply to only participate in or stay throughout the day and into the fireworks festival activities until 9:30 p.m. Food vendors will be limited and determined by the Events & Programming Coordinator.

    Please note that the Fireworks Area is in a different location than the main event at 170 Grant Ave. Fireworks Area is at the corner of Sable and Frontier, located in the North East corner of Central Park. If you are vending at the main event you will have from 4 to 6:45 p.m. to relocate and be ready to serve at the Fireworks Area.

  11. Set-up Time

    Staged setup for vendors will occur between 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. depending on your time needed. Food vendors and any vendors participating in the parade may arrive at 6:30 a.m. All vendors must be set up by 9:45 a.m. Vendors may not tear down booths before 4:30 p.m. All vendors must be cleared from the area by 6:00 p.m.

  12. Site Information

    Vendors will be emailed a site plan with set-up information by Monday, June 17, 2019. Site plans will also be available on event day. Vendors are responsible for bringing their own equipment (canopies, tables, chairs and materials), and are REQUIRED to bring weights (bricks or sandbags) being a minimum of 20 LBS. per weight, for canopies in case of high winds. Failure to do so may result in a fine issued by the Town of Firestone. Vendor space assignments will be drawn at random by the Events & Programming Coordinator. The Town of Firestone reserves the right to change site locations and dimensions due to event logistics.


    • Vendors are responsible for bringing their own equipment (canopies, tables, chairs and materials), and are REQUIRED to weight their tents (bricks or sandbags) in case of high winds. Failure to do so may result in a fine issued by the Town of Firestone.
    • Vendors must have an attendant at their booth at all times during the 4th at Firestone.
    • Exhibitors will be allowed to TEMPORARILY park near the event site for unloading and loading. Immediately following this process, you must move your vehicle(s) to the Vendor Parking as indicated in the site plan. Any vehicle left unattended in the event area may be towed at the owner’s expense.
    • All materials and equipment brought on the property shall be at the total risk of the vendor. Anything that would cause real or potential danger to any person will be prohibited on the premises, except Police, Fire and Ambulance exhibits.
    • Displays may not exceed vendor space boundaries. No distribution of flyers and/or marketing material will be allowed outside of the vendor space, including in the park area or street.
    • Vendors must remove all refuse from space upon breakdown, or reimburse the Town of Firestone for cleaning.
    • Food distribution will be allowed in designated areas only. All other vendors will not be allowed to distribute prepared food, even if complimentary. Exceptions include individual complimentary candy items (i.e. candy bowl). Product sampling is allowed with prior approval before the event from the Events & Programming Coordinator
    • Any damage caused to the park or amenities by vendors will be charged to and paid for by the vendor. This includes any items owned by the Town of Firestone that are removed from the premises.
    • Vendors or their staff can be turned away for what the Town of Firestone considers inappropriate behavior towards other vendors, visitors or staff. Vendors who have been turned away will forfeit their application fee.
    • REFUNDS - No refunds will be given after Friday, June 7, 2019.
    • In case of inclement weather, the 4th at Firestone will be rescheduled for Friday, July 5, 2019. For any vendors not able to make the inclement weather date, refunds will be issued.

    By signing below, vendor recognizes and acknowledges that he or she assumes full risk of any injuries, property damage or loss which he or she may sustain as a result of his or her participation in the 4th at Firestone. The Town of Firestone reserves the right of final decision in rules interpretation and enforcement. Further, vendor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Town of Firestone, its officers, employees and insurers from any and all liability for any damage, loss, injury or costs associated with or arising from his or her acts or omissions in connection with his or her participation in the 4th at Firestone.
