Community Recycling Event

Firestone’s popular Recycling Event makes eco-friendly living easy! Now entering its successful third season, the event draws more than 300 households each year. The focus of the event is on reuse, refurbishing, and recycling, helping ensure that items collected can be put back to good use whenever possible.

Residents can enjoy convenient services like document shredding, donating gently used furniture, and junk removal, all while diverting waste from landfills and supporting sustainability in our community. Items brought to the event should be in usable or recyclable condition to support the event’s mission. It’s a simple, community-focused way to recycle responsibly and make a positive impact in Firestone.

  • Saturday, April 18, 2026 | 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.
  • Firestone Maintenance Facility, 7500 County Road 20

REGISTRATION:
